Went to the football tournament yesterday to support the boyfriend's football team. It was unfortunate his team didn't make use of his talent. They won one game and lost the other. Babe went home disappointed. It's okay though, there's always next time...i guess.

I'm in LOVE...
I walked into Sephora Saturday and absolutely fell in love with this palette...
she's so freaken beautiful!! I walked around Sephora, with this palette in my hand, for 30 minutes contemplating whether I was going to get it or not. Only problem is it's over fifty bucks. I've never spent fifty bucks on one single makeup item before. But this wasn't just any ole palette. It was a Tarte Palette, loaded with 16 shimmer shadows, 16 matte shadows, 16 lip glosses, a bronzing and illuminating powder, and 4 blushes!! All for only fifty bucks?!! At this point, I was like.."I have to get it. I'd be an idiot if I didn't"
*sigh*.. I honestly am in love with this package. All the colors are so vibrant and so beautiful. It sits quite beautifully on top of my makeup desk and every time I walk pass it, I find myself turning around, grabbing it, opening it, and admiring it (at least 3 times everyday so far..haha). I totally recommend this palette. Paying 52 bucks for something that is really worth over 600 bucks is sooooo worth it.
Along with this, I also bought two of Benefits creaseless cream shadows. They came together in a cute lil baggie for only 10 dollars, so it was definitely a must buy. I haven't used these yet but have heard good reviews on them.
Anyways..let's get started with the swatches.
The 16 Shimmer Eyeshadows..
The 16 Matte Eyeshadows..
The Lip Glosses..
The Blushes
These are actual Tarte size eyeshadows. So it's not like you're getting a sample of everything, you're actually getting it in it's full-size. Quantity, plus Quality? This is an A ++ buy.
Here are the creaseless cream shadows..
Honey bunny (pinkish) and Recess (light beige-y/ivory)
Also...I was given an award by Crystal, Erica, and April =) It's good to know that someone out there likes reading my blog. LOLz. Thank you ladies so much ^^

EOTD
As you probably already know from most the of EOTDs that I've posted up, I like my eyeshadow look to be a little bit neutral/natural. So here's a perfect example with the look I did today...
Eye Products Used
Aromaleigh Primer/Base
Jane's AguaMousse Eyeshadow in Silver Dollar
Aromaleigh mineral shadow in Fox
MAC's eyeshadow in Glamour Check
Fox is such a pretty/sparkly color. These pictures just don't do it justice.
I've been getting questions about some of the products I've been posting up so I'll probably do reviews on them when I get the chance. I'll probably do a video review on all the Rimmel Products that I own and on all the Revlon Lippies that I own. So do come back and check for updates. thanks for reading =]

Lipsticks, Mascaras, and Eyeshadows..Oh My!
I bought some goodies the other day but never got around to posting up swatches for them. These are the things that I bought..
my son got his hands on the tempting and scratched out some of the color. It's okay though, after freaking out for about an hour, I've decided to forgive him =/
I went to the Cosmetic Company at our local mall and picked up a few MAC items. I saw the Tempting Quad and felt like I just had to have it. I've been wanting Tempting for awhile now anyways, so i kinda killed two birds with one stone by buying this quad. I remember seeing one of the gurus on youtube do a review on her Metal-X cream shadow so I figured I'd give that a try. I bought the MAC's Metal-X cream shadows in Gold Spice (which is a bronzy gold) and in Material Gold (which is more of a illuminating champagne color). I really like these things. They're both so incredibly pretty. If you don't already know, I love sparkly, metallic-y eyeshadows (A LOT).
L to R: Gold Spice. Material Gold. Next To Nothing. Sharp. Tempting. Dark Edge.
Rimmel was buy one, get one free at Walgreens so that's why I bought two of their mascaras. I have their Glam'eyes mascara already but am almost out. It's by far my favorite mascara. But I felt like I wanted to try some of their other mascaras so I bought two different ones. I bought the Glam'eyes Lash Flirt and their new one, The Max VolumeFlash (which resembles Covergirl's big orange mascara). I've been using the Max VolumeFlash and kinda, sorta like it. It's no glam'eyes, but it'll do. hahah. It's not clumpy (which is a very good thing) and does an okay job of separating my lashes but just doesn't deliver enough color. And definitely NOT enough volume. I probably wouldn't purchase this again. It's okay but not the best. I haven't tried the Lash Flirt yet but will probably get around to using it this weekend.
I also bought lipsticks!! =D
L to R:MAC's pleasureseeker. REVLON's Twinkled pink and Just enough buff.
I'm a little bit obsessed with lipsticks..
Hope you guys enjoyed my little haul. Let me know if there are any questions..

Aromaleigh Minerals Haul
So I first heard about Aromaleigh from a video review that Fafibaby12 did and I was immediately interested. If you've never heard of Aromaleigh, you should definitely check them out. They've got a variety of gorgeous mineral colors at affordable prices. What's even better is that they have new sales every week. I was able to snag my full-size eyeshadows at 50% off, paying only about $2.88 for each of them. That's a pretty awesome bargain if you ask me. So here's my haul..
I ordered their Eyeshadow Primer and base (the larger container), 8 of their full-sized mineral eyeshadows from their Pure Hue collection, and 3 sample baggies. For those who aren't too sure if they want to commit to one full-size container, they do sell samples for $1.00. Who ever came up with that idea is a genius! haha. They also included 3 free sample baggies with my order. They definitely have customer service down pact =)
So here are the color swatches for my full-size shadows...
L to R:Arbor. Bronze. Caribe. Fox. Holy Grail. Peacoat. Pewter. Regal.
The colors are absolutely amazing. They're so vibrant. I love love love these things! Now whether you use a primer or not, it's really up to you but honestly, I think they're much more vibrant on top of a primer/base. Speaking of Primer, I really like the primer that I ordered from them. It's a bit sticky but goes on dry and almost translucent, and a little definitely goes a loooong way with this. I like it a lot and will probably order it again if I ever run out. If you don't order anything off their site, atleast order this. Believe me, you won't be disappointed. Here's a quick photo of it..
I bought mines in light.
and here's a quick swatch of the sample baggies that I received.
L to R: Aurelie. Mireille. Nico. Purple Princess. Satin Laces. Teddy Wisp.
Due to my eye infection, I steered clear of makeup for a few days so I wasn't able to play with these colors a much as I'd like. But so far I've used fox, holy grail, and satin laces. These colors are so pretty and so versatile.
The only thing I don't like is that I think the full-size containers are rather small. They're much smaller than what I'd imagine them to be. I also found it hard at times to try to get the colors out of the little holes. LOLz. Maybe it's just me. Here's a comparison of a full-sized jar next to a MAC eyeshadow..
It's rather small.
But the size of it doesn't even compare to the quality of the product. This is good stuff. You have to at least try one sample baggie just to know how beautiful the colors really are. I'll probably get a EOTD done today before I head to work. If you've got any questions, feel free to ask =]
p.s.
I ordered my stuff Wednesday night and received it Saturday morning. Their shipping is awesome!
UPDATE
So here's the look I did for today using:
-Arbor
-Pewter
-Nyx eyeshadow in black
-MAC eyeshadow in Next to Nothing
FOTD..
if you want a complete list of everything I used on my entire face/eyes/lips/ect..just let me know. I'll be more than happy to list them.

Blog Award? For Me?!? Why, Thank You!!! =)
My very first blog award!!..I'm ubber excited.
I guess I'm suppose to..
— Accept the award; post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.
— Pass the award to 15 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for these awards.
Thanks to Karen (Riny) for the awards. I couldn't help but wonder when I was gonna get one of these things. LOLz. Thanks hunn, you made my day =D
And...she also tagged me! yaay. According to the tag, I think I'm suppose to give 10 random facts about me and then tag 10 people. So here it goes...
[1] I procrastinate..ALL the time =/ It's a habit I need to kick or else my son's going to pick up on it (which we definitely don't want happening). One of my teachers once told me that those who procrastinate tends to have more stress in their lives...hmmmm..that probably explains a lot.
[2] I looooove to dine out. Food is my savior. I'll eat anything and everything. I loooove me some food. That's probably where most of my money goes =/
[3] I'm literally going blind, yet I refuse to go to the eye doctor. *sigh* don't want to add more bills to the list.
[4] I wake up 7 am almost every morning (including weekends thanks to my biological clock). I hate waking up in the mornings. I'm NOT a morning person, at all.
[5] I spend my whole day Sunday watching nothing but football. My favorite teams so far are the Vikings (yes, I've joined the Brett bandwagon), Colts, and the Giants. My brother says that I can only have one favorite team, so I tried to narrow it down, but I can't. It was impossibly hard. I love them all!! What can I say, I like my Mannings and my Brett.
[6] I don't shave my legs unless I'm about to go out. LOLz. gross eh? It's cool though, my bf hasn't complained yet. hahaha.
[7] I didn't learn how to drive until I was 20. pretty pathetic. haha
[8] I'm Hmong, my BF is Laos, and my son is Vietnamese. hahah. talk about diverse =)
[9] I hate carrying a purse around. I have one and occasionally I'll buy a new one but I always end up leaving it at home and taking my wallet instead.
[10] I sleep with my mouth open sometimes. Which reminds me, 2 years ago I fell asleep in the car while my sister-in-law was driving and my son tried to stick his A.B.C gum in my mouth. LOLz. everyone though it was hilarious, I still do every time I think about it.
That's about it..now I tag you to do this!

Eye Infection..OUCH!!
Sorry for the lack of wanting to update. I've been suffering from a horrible and hideous eye infection and don't really feel like doing anything but maybe mope around because I look A MESS! *sigh* My self-esteem is at a major low right now...
Anyways..my Aromaleigh mineral eyeshadows order came in the other day so I've been playing with it a little. I've been applying it to my non-infected eye =D. hahaha. I'll post up pictures/swatches/reviews/ect as soon as I can. I ordered a few of the full size colors as well as the sample baggies. And I also ordered their Eye Primer/Base, which I'm loving at the moment. If you've never heard of Aromaleigh, you should definitely visit their sight. They've got some beautiful eyeshadow colors at affordable prices. -->www.aromaleigh.com ..and tell me what you guys think =]
That's enough update for now. With this infected eye, all I've been wanting to do is sleep. So off to bed I'll be going. 'nite guys <3

New LipGloss
I bought me a new lipgloss from MAC yesterday. I was having a hard time trying to pick out a color/finish. This would be my FIRST official MAC lipgloss =] It was between MAC's tinted Lipglass in Underage or PRRR. The MUA recommended PRRR over Underage so that's the one I ended up buying.
I happen to like this lipgloss a lot. It's staying power is awesome and the color is very pretty. Although I sorta wish that I'd bought it in Underage instead, but oh wells. I can always go back and buy it. A girl can never have too many lipglosses. haha.
A lipgloss that I'm really liking at the moment is my Milani lipgloss in Glitz and Glam. Although it's a bit drying, the color is just so pretty. I always have to go over it with a clear gloss to give it better staying power. I would definitely LOVE a lipstick in this color, but until then..I'll just stick with this.
And of course I can't forget my favorite lip product of the moment, my MAC tendertone lip balm in Tender Baby.
I carry this thing everywhere with me. It feels so good on the lips, not too sticky and not too greasy. I just love it! It gives off a sheer color, which sits beautifully on top of any color lipstick. It's my favorite of the moment, at least until I lose it. Yes, yes..I'm one of those girls. I loose things very (too) easily, especially when it comes to lip products. It's a bad habbit =/

I bought some goodies from sephora today =D . Being that I'm a broke college student, my super awesome boyfriend was kind enough to let me spoil myself just a little bit. He hates buying me makeup more than anything because he says I've got too many. But what can i say, makeup makes me happy. Sorry babe ;)
My Prince Charming est. 030308
So technically I had a budget to stick by. I had to buy something I needed and didn't already have, and something I absolutely couldn't resist getting. This is what I ended up with...
I used to use the Laura Mercier Primer but always felt like it didn't do anything for my skin. From that experience, I got the impression that a facial primer just wasn't necessary. But lately I've been noticing that my foundation has been rubbing off very easily on things. My makeup left this huge brown stain on my son's white polo shirt this morning =/ . So I'm going to give this facial primer thing another try. Hopefully this Bare Escentuals Primer is a lot better.
I've had my eyes on this Too Faced Palette forever! The best part about it is that it comes with the shadow insurance (I'm almost out of my UDPP). What a coincidence right?! The shadows are just so vibrant. I just HAD to HAVE it!! *sigh* my boyfriend's going to be mad. I went over my budget =/
I've got class in a little bit so I probably won't get the swatches up until later. But believe me when I say that these colors are so gorgeous. Eeeek! I'm so excited!!
**UPDATE**
Here's the color swatches from my Too Faced Palette.
Top: Full Frontal, Socialite, Skinny Dip
Bottom: Glamazon, Boy Toy, Lucky Charms
I'll probably do a tutorial with them later on this week. The colors are so pretty!

Purple EOTD...
I wore yellow today but somehow wanted my eyeshadow to be purple..I didn't turn out looking quite as tacky as I thought I would. haha. but anyways. here goes my EOTD..
and these were the products I used for my eyes...
[1] First I applied the Urban Decay Primer Potion
[2] Went over my lid with my JANE Agua Eyestix in 01 Island Breeze
[3] and then I went over that with my NYX ultra Pearl Mania in...hmm..turns out I peeled off the sticker so I don't really know what it's call (sorry!) It's the light purple color.
[4] Next, used the purple in my HIP Duo in Flamboyant all over the crease. You want to make sure to blend everything nicely.
[5] Used the the darker color in my HIP Duo in Sculpted all over the outer corner of my lids. BLENDED some more.
[6] I ended up going over the lids again, this time with the purple color from my Amuse Diamond Eyeshadow Palette.
[8] I lined my eyes with my NYX eye pencil in Extreme Black and then traced over it with my MAC eyeshadow in shadowy lady.
[9] Applied 2 coats of mascara (Rimmel Glam'eyes)...DONE
wow..the list looks super long =/ but in actuality, it didn't take me that long to finish this look off. It was fast and easy.
For my face and lips, I used these products..
Merlot Grape Seed Moisturizer. A sample of the Dermadoctor Tease Zone Oil Control Gel from Sephora. MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC30. NYX concealer in Beige. Stila Bronzing Powder in Shade 02 and illuminating finishing powder in Gold. NYX blush in Angel.
Salley Hansen Prep & Perfect lipcare. NYX round lipstick in Iris. Maybelline Superstay Gloss in shade 103.
P.S.
Smoke and Diamond's having a Contest giveaway. She's giving out any ONE Victoria's Secret Eyeshadow and your choice of the eye primer or eyeliner pencil. Exciting huh? Her rules are super simple. Contest ends Sept. 18 so hurry up guyss!!
